The 2012 awards season is just around the corner starting with all that glitters at The Golden Globes. On Sunday, January 15 the presentation of The 69th Annual Golden Globe® Awards will bring red carpet style with plenty of bling, the best (and sometimes the worst) fashion moments and lots of stars.

Celebrities have the best resources for perfect skin, hair, fashion, food and more… but living in Los Angeles means so can you.

For starters give your skin that celebrity 'glow.' Heidi Klum and Marcia Cross are just 2 of the flawless faces that count on Gina Mari for their skin care. For a little at home treatment Gina suggests an Ayur-medic Papaya Enzyme Peel followed by TNS Essential Serum. And for a truly beautiful red carpet glow, plan a visit to Gina Mari for Oxygen Therapy, Vitamin C Infusion and Microdermabrasion. Speaking from personal experience after getting my skin wedding ready, that it is truly remarkable what magic she can do with your skin!

According to Pantone, Tangerine Tango is the hot color for 2012. Any one of the Best Actress nominees could certainly pull it off on the red carpet. Glenn Close or Meryl Streep could easily be seen in fashions by Stella McCartney, Viola Davis would look stunning in Raoul Penelope, Rooney Mara would add some youth and edge in a Charlotte Ronson (shown above) and Tilda Swinton could be in matching hair and dress for an over the top dramatic statement she has pulled off before.

If you are planning on having friends over for a little viewing party start with a signature cocktail. For inspiration, I looked at some fabulous local mixologist. One of my favorites, Vincenzo Marianella, of Copa d'Oro in Santa Monica goes golden with their Gold Plated Sidecar a mix of Hennessey XO Cognac, Grand Marnier Cinquantenarie & Fresh Lemon Juice. The Tasting Kitchen's Golden Ticket combines pisco, passion fruit and honey. Or try the recipe for Fields of Gold by Mixologist Joel Black of The Doheny:

Honey Syrup:
3 ounces honey
1 ounce water
To Assemble and Serve:
2 ounces Buffalo Trace bourbon whisky
¾ ounce honey syrup
¾ ounce orange juice
½ ounce lemon juice
1 orange twist for garnish

'Tis the awards season to plan a night out at The Beverly Hilton, the backdrop to this "evening of the stars." The stars love the format of the formal sit down dinner before the show and there are 2 great options of dining there so you can enjoy a little of the flavor of their night on your special night.

You don't need to spend a fortune for fabulous bling, you just have to know where to shop and how to wear it. Deborah Rhein not only has fabulous taste but she is fabulous, welcoming and affordable. I have several of her baubles that I get nothing but compliments on. While you are there you might also pick up something to add a little glitz to your at home party.
