Fall Accessories For Under $50

By Katherine Lewin

I don't know about you, but the coming of fall has caught me completely off guard. Since we don't really have seasons here in L.A., fashion magazines are my only reminder that fall trends have officially landed. What's more, we all know that with the weather in a constant state of balmy limbo, buying a new coat or jacket every fall is simply unnecessary.

Looking for a great way to take your look from that casual Los Angeles summer vibe to a snappier fall style? I'd recommend investing in a few on-trend accessories. I'm a firm believer that the perfect accessory can transform any outfit. Adding accessories can also be an incredibly cost-effective way to make your wardrobe season-appropriate. This fall, I'm loving accessories that feel classically glamorous with a hint of the exotic. Check out my top picks for the best fall accessories under $50.

Can you believe this bag is $45? I love how luxurious it looks, when in reality it is a total steal. I adore the fun tassels, as well as the python-effect and the bag's green hue. One of the biggest trends for fall is muted colors, and this purse is a fabulous example.

Speaking of green purses, this incredibly chic olive-colored Essie nail hue is called "Power Clutch." While your manicure may not be the first thing you think of when considering accessories, this nail color is impossible to ignore. It pairs perfectly with the rest of fall's major trends. The understated glamour of this nail polish is what makes it the perfect accessory for any fall outfit.

Tortoiseshell is a favorite of mine, but it is often only used in very classic, traditional styles. What I love about this necklace is the way it makes tortoise shell extremely modern with its cool, architectural link-design. The pops of crystal add an extra touch of luxury to the piece.

A girl can never have enough shoes. Especially when those shoes come in at the unbelievable price of $49. This pump has a gorgeous, retro shape with its angled heel, and it comes in a variety of bright colors. My pick is the red—this color is deceptively versatile. You could easily wear these scarlet pumps for a variety of occasions; whether you're off to a fun dinner party, or pairing them with a pencil skirt for work, these shoes are a major bang-for-your-buck item.

Leopard is a major trend for fall. But if you're like me, you might be just a tad hesitant to wear this flashy print. A skinny belt is a perfect way to incorporate this trend in a fun, subtle way. Perfect for cinching a cardigan or belting your skinny jeans, this accessory is a fabulous choice for fall.
