Some say work is just a thing to do between weekends. Those people could afford a week-long happy hour, picking a new venue each night to save some cash while having a good time. Sometimes, the theme is centered around cheap drinks and sporting events, and others are more concerned with filling your belly with inexpensive food while chatting with friends. Try to get out of work early so you can get to these pubs and bars before the happy hour rush kicks in.

This cash-only pub is a local staple, giving students and non-students quality service and a great happy hour. Tuesday night is your best bet, as most of the scholarly locals will be recovering from their weekend extravaganzas and are most likely back into the studying swing of things. The happy hour runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and gives all patrons a buck off of pints and three dollars off all pitchers. Anthill's slogan of "If you've seen a commercial for it, we don't have it" should tell you all you need to know about the brew selection. Its food is a combo of street food, build-your-own burgers and a "sausage of the week."
