Teachers are America's unsung heroes. For most parents and students they can't thank their teachers enough for the tireless hours, creative outreach and diligence they commit to their students and classrooms throughout the year. May 5 marks National Teachers Day which is a wonderful opportunity to honor local educators. This year several in the Orange County area are choosing to honor teachers May 4-8, 2015 by offering freebies and discounts. The Orange County celebrations start with morning coffees, afternoon tea breaks, a discounted lunch, an uplifting massage and a deal at the salon.

Teachers are invited to get their morning java fix or afternoon pick-me-up at ChocXO in Costa Mesa or at the Lake Forest location. This Orange County café offers five locally-roasted single origin varieties of espresso and liquid versions of four single origin chocolates that the shop makes fresh from the bean at its chocolate factory in Irvine. For those teachers with a sweet tooth, ChocXO will make a single origin chocolate beverage without coffee including hot chocolate or hand-shaken chocolate milk. If there is time before or after the bell rings, the ambience of ChocXO is ideal for grading papers or taking a time out.
