Though Orange County is a long way from Thailand, the region enjoys an abundance of restaurants serving Thai food. Some are family-owned establishments with a rich culinary history behind them. Many have chefs creating fusions of different cuisines for their customers. No matter if you love a good Crying Tiger or mango sticky rice, you can find it in the OC. A family-owned establishment, Thai & Chinese Express took over their food court spot from a Peruvian restaurant. Specializing in Thai and Chinese food, the menu features such familiar favorites as orange chicken, eggplant tofu and chow mein. Though the selection caters to lunchtime diners looking for a quick meal, the proprietors will make special dishes upon request. Thai & Chinese Express is open Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 8pm, and 12pm to 5pm on Saturdays.
