From mid July to mid-August, the OC Fair will provide guests with an assortment of activities including sports, live music, carnival rides and a 5k run. As one of the best festivals of the summer, the Orange County Fair is sure to be fun for all ages. Attendees even have the opportunity to enter competitions ranging in themes from the culinary arts to photography, woodworking, film, horticulture and livestock. Live music can be seen at the Pacific Amphitheater, as well as in the Hangar, where guets can see everyone from Styx and Boston to Chris Isaak, Train and many others. Orange County is adorned with renowned beautiful coastlines, and the Ocean Festival is a great way to appreciate the inherent beauty of the area. Celebrating over 35 years of surfing and more, the Ocean Festival is a two day extravaganza of water competitions, a 5k beach run, surfing and body surfing competitions, a fishing derby, and much more. Once you've had enough of the ocean activities, the Ocean Festival also offers up an art show, children's events and much more. The event, which takes place at the San Clemente Pier, invites children under the age of 14 to enter a surfing competition, and adults can take part in paddle boarding, surf racing, surf ski racing and iron man competitions. There will also be a sand molding contest, a classic car exhibit and a beach party for the entire family with live music.
