The Festival of Arts Fine Art Show, Art-A-Fair and the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival invite visitors to browse, purchase art or take art classes. Pageant of The Masters provides a memorable theatrical event. Mission San Juan Capistrano's Summer Craft Days gives children a chance to create crafts with cultural and historical significance.

For over 80 years, the Festival of Arts Fine Art Show has been exhibiting exquisite works of art which has captivated audiences. Featuring paintings, sculptures, photography, printmaking, jewelry, handcrafted wood and furniture, ceramics, glass and more, this show is one of a kind and features the works of over 140 Orange County artists. In addition, the festival offers demonstrations, art workshops, live music, special events and on-site restaurants. Open daily.

As one of the areas most prestigious summer events, Pageant of The Masters is a theatrical production that leaves audience members filled with awe. Set in an outdoor amphitheater, real people pose as subjects in classical and contemporary works of art, all in full view of audience members. A professional orchestra, live narration and elaborate sets all contribute to a magical experience. This year's theme, "The Pursuit of Happiness," is a nostalgic reminder of simple pleasures. The show is presented every night at 8:30 p.m. from July 8 through August 31.

Visitors stroll along sawdust-covered paths in a quaint, village-like atmosphere at the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival. Over 200 Laguna Beach artists exhibit works ranging from hand-blown and fused glass, painting, jewelry, surf art, ceramics, clothing and textiles, wood and metal sculpture, scrimshaw and photography. Hands-on art and craft projects for all ages are offered at three demonstration booths. Art classes, taught by professional instructors, are available in the Sawdust Studios. The summer Sawdust & Crafts Festival is open daily June 26 through August 30.

At Art-A-Fair, visitors can mingle with artists as they create some truly special pieces of art. Displaying the work of 125 local, national and international artists in a relaxed garden atmosphere, the medians include oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, drawings, digital art, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wood. The festival also features adult art workshops, live entertainment on weekends, and an on-site restaurant, Tivoli Too. Art-A-Fair is open June 26 through August 30.

Every day is a fun-filled, creative adventure for children at Mission San Juan Capistrano Summer Craft Days. From July 6 through August 28, a scheduled activity is available from 11am to 1pm, Monday through Friday. Children experience culture and history among the gardens, fountains and adobe architecture as they create a craft. The activities include making adobe bricks, corn husk dolls, clay pots, arrowhead necklaces and panning for gold.
