With 18 acres of beautiful scenic backdrops perfect for photography, Polliwog Park is considered the largest park in South Bay. This quaint little park used to be home to an Indian tribe before it became a hidden valley gem a block behind a usually busy street. What makes Los Encinos Historic Park so unique, aside from its historical past, is the natural spring that feeds the duck pond found at the center of the park. The park includes a handful of picnic tables complete with grills located throughout the park surrounding the open five-acre field of well-manicured lawn. The tranquil environment of the park as a whole makes it a local favorite for intimate picnics with friends, family and loved ones. Located within a residential neighborhood, Los Encinos Historic Park is so low key that it feels like you're picnicking in someone's backyard.

This picnic spot has plenty of bench seating and picnic tables in addition to plenty of grassy spots for laying out on a blanket. While buying wine or participating in a tasting is not required, it's generally recommended to purchase at least one bottle per table occupied.
