After a late night ringing in 2014, sleeping in and brunching out will help red-eyed revelers recover on the first day of the new year. So, where will your first meal of 2014 be? Brunch time makes it easy to meet up with family and friends, and menus offer everything from eggs and bacon to hot cakes and syrup to Bloody Marys and bottomless mimosas. Reservations are encouraged at these spots to ring in the new year cravings.

The Oaxacan watering hole in the Westchester area will be open at 11am on New Year's Day. From 11am to 4pm., imbibers can keep the party going with special priced beverages: $4 draft beers, $4 mimosas, $5 Bloody Marys and Micheladas, $5 well drinks and $6 specialty cocktails alongside the breakfast burritos and curative chilaquiles. Starting at 3pm, $1 tacos will also be available. Cinco is also participating in a New Year's Eve bash and charitable event taking place at Union Station in the old Ted Hardy restaurant space. Diners who attend the soiree will receive a wristband for a free breakfast burrito on New Year's Day at the restaurant.
