For over 25 years, The Pump Station has been a reliable and well-known resource for new parents. Founders Wendy Haldeman and Corky Harvey pride created this baby haven to provide specialized education and quality products to their visitors. With three locations, including Hollywood and Westlake, The Pump Station holds a large amount of classes to choose from, including classes about breastfeeding, labor and delivery, baby care and diaper changing, post-partum support, playgroups for the young ones, and much more. The store also offers classes with topics ranging from infant massage to coping with pre-school panic. Chances are, if you have a question, they have a class for it! In addition to classes, The Pump Station is a great place to visit for a wide selection of baby products and clothing including breast pumps, nursing bras, baby clothing, accessories and much more.

Founder Brandi Jordan is a specialist in several pre-partum and post-partum fields, and shares with visitors her “Practical Parenting” methods through specialized classes. Offering a variety of services, classes, support groups and workshops, some of the topics include prenatal yoga, childbirth education, breastfeeding for new parents, mom & baby yoga, baby sign language, classes on practical parenting, and much more. They also have a shop with a variety of eco-friendly products for parent and baby including items such as bottles, swaddle blankets, teething toys, oils, books and more. Most notably, their pediatric sleep consulting program is very helpful for new parents who want to make sure their baby is well rested, as well as getting a few extra z’s for themselves.
