Depending on how your tastes run, the term “lobster roll” can mean more than one thing. To sandwich lovers, it means delicious lobster meat in between a roll of bread. For sushi lovers, it’s a roll of sushi with lobster as the main ingredient. These five restaurants have quality lobster in either a sandwich or a sushi roll. The last venue actually has both a sandwich and a sushi lobster roll available, which is a win for those who love both kinds of lobster roll.

Slapfish refers to itself as “real American seafood” on its website, and they provide a good definition for what exactly “real American seafood” is. They offer this claim: “No white tablecloths or fancy silverware, just a boatload of deliciousness in a fast-casual setting.” Americans are all about delicious food and fast service, but that doesn’t mean the lobster in your lobster roll needs to be mystery meat. The lobster in their lobster roll is 100 percent lobster. This restaurant has multiple locations, and they are mostly in Orange County.
