What began in 1997 as an art studio in Westminister has grown to be an environment for children, teens and adults to explore their creative expression through art. The non-competitive environment is very proficient in giving the students the opportunity to grow, no matter the level of proficiency in art. Building the skill in weekly art classes helps develop the confidence to take the art to the next level. The classes available for adults include live model Mondays, Friday night paintings, portrait and flesh tones bootcamps, oil painting, acrylic painting and watercolor painting.

For more than 35 years, there are a variety of art lessons available for adults to explore their artistic creativity. The classes available range from the morning, afternoon and evenings. The various classes available include portraiture, landscapes, seascapes, still life and wildlife. The instructors come from various backgrounds and years of experience.

The La Habra Art Association first started in 1955 to help promote local artists and provide a location for these artists to showcase their work. Beyond exhibiting the work, the location also provides lessons for the public to help them explore their artistic talents. The schedule of classes available include an open studio water medi and pastels on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is free for anyone wanting to join, but you will need to bring your own materials. Wednesdays from 7pm to 9 p.m. is a life drawing session that is $10 for the model fee and you will need to bring your own materials. There are many more art sessions available and the schedules are subject to change. Make sure to check in online or call in before heading to these classes.
