Celebrate the 75th anniversary of DC Comics with a new attraction at the Warner Bros. Burbank studio. For a short time this summer, the VIP Studio Tour will now include "The Batman Exhibit," a large collection of exciting props, costumes, and vehicles from seven Batman films. See the original Batman suits worn by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Christian Bale; villain costumes including The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, and Mr. Freeze; numerous props; and several vehicles like the Batpod, Tumbler, and Batmobile.

Celebrate Canada Day, the national day of Canada in downtown LA today. Toronto transplants Pawan, Nakul, and Arjun Mahendro of the Indian gastrobub Badmaash are serving up a unique Chicken Tikka Poutine to join in on the fun. A great combination of Indian and Canadian food, the dish features masala fries topped with traditional cheese curds and beef gravy, with an added touch of chicken "dhaba style" and cilantro for a unique kick.

In association with Dennis Yares and Dan Ireland, the Museum of Tolerance will be commemorating the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The short film "Hate From A Distance", which is inspired by the struggle for civil rights throughout the country, will be screened at 7:30pm with a reception before starting at 6:30pm. The event, which is free, will also feature a discussion which follows the screening and will feature special guests and Freedom Riders, Dr. Robert and Helen Singleton.

The Zev Yaroslavsky Signature Series is kicking off at the Ford Amphitheatre with two amazing, two-tapping acts: The Dustbowl Revival and Preservation Hall Jazz Band (coming back for the first time since Coachella). The Dustbowl Revival merges bluegrass, gospel, jug-band, swamp blues, and 1930s swing; this Venice based local band is a real treat to see live. Legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band plays traditional New Orleans jazz music self dubbed, "the planet's happiest music." Your senses will delight at this fun, upbeat show.
