For National Ice Cream Month, some of LA's best ice cream shops and restaurants want you to check out their special flavors and deals in honor of the occasion. You may have never needed a reason to eat ice cream before, but this national "holiday" gives you a full month to go crazy for the decadent dessert.

All three Sweet Rose Creamery locations will feature Fig Jam Swirl with Salty Crumble and Lemon Chamomile ice cream now that summer and National Ice Cream Month are in full swing. Sweet Corn is also back on the menu for the season. In collaboration with A Sustainable Kitchen's crEATe: Food/Art/Community events, Sweet Rose will donate leftover corn kernels and cobs used to make the ice cream to artist Ako Castuera who will use them as part of sculptures on display, beginning with the Mid-City location.

Each Plan Check location will continue its weekly Market Milkshake Monday featuring thick shakes inspired by local farmers market produce.
