Check out the historic Yost Theater as it transforms itself into a haunted mansion with the help of more than $30,000 in props and decorations and enjoy the first-ever performance in the U.S. by Bahador Kharazmi, an Iranian singer and songwriter. Also performing are Mehrbod, DJ Julius, DJ MD, Royal M and Shannash. There will be surprises and giveaways, and the event is expected to sell out.

If you are 21 and older, head over to the Detroit Bar’s Halloween party featuring BLOK, Terminal A, Cleopatra and the Alchemist, Nicker Jones. Headliners BLOK is made up of three Southern California-born-and-bred siblings — Damien Blaise, Gianna, Gianna and Jesse Saint John. The event begins at 8 p.m., so bring your costume and plan to party throughout the night.

The annual Lalita party at Sutra will feature DJs BB Guns and Kedd Cook. Make sure to bring your Halloween costume and dance the night away at this year’s event in which the DJs will play the top party mash ups. Doors open at 9 p.m. The venue has gained a reputation for entertaining artists including Ludacris, Nelly, Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, Mickey Avalon, Paul Oakenfold, LMFAO, Ice Cube, Far East Movement, Dirty South and ATB.

Heat Ultra Lounge will host a party mixing deejays, dancing and Halloween thrills. With 10,000 square feet and two distinct rooms, its main room will spin the top 40, hip hop and mash ups, and the second room will spin electronic music. Halloween night will feature three areas including the Tunnel of Terror, the Slaughter House and the Spider’s Den. Come dressed in your best costume.
