Whether you're a teen or a grown up looking for fun, the thrill of driving on a kart track can provide the excitement that comes with vehicular control. Start your engines! At K-1 Speed, racing enthusiasts and thrill-seekers get to satisfy their adrenaline rush with this indoor go-kart racing spot in the heart of Torrance. Just a short drive south, the location is conveniently located. Here, you'll get to compete and go head to head with friends and family, or with complete strangers, as you get the real racing experience. The indoor race track is professionally designed and provides racers with both a fun environment and a safe one to test out your racing skills. Featuring seat belts and roll bars, the go-karts are electric and ensure the ability to be shut off remotely in the event of an accident. Certain restrictions apply to junior drivers, like their height must be a minimum of four feet (48") to participate in the race. Adults must be over 4'10" (58") and cannot compete with juniors in a race; they must compete against other adults. Open seven days a week, K-1 can accommodate parties, but request you call and make a reservation if you are planning to bring more than a couple of racers.

Located in the City of Industry, Speed Zone offers an indoor/outdoor attraction that is more than just go-kart racing. With a miniature golf course, video games, arcade and banquet rooms, it's a great kid-friendly option when more entertainment is needed for guests with different interests than just go kart racing. Providing a high speed race simulation with challenging road courses for all skill levels, visitors at MB2 Raceway get to use their high-performance electric European karts which are capable of speeds up to 45mph. Combine that with being just a few inches off the ground and you'll feel as if you're really going fast. Offering a variety of race formats, a standard race here lasts about 10 minutes, but you can grab a group package or work with MB2 to come up with a Tournament or race format of your own. In addition to offering go karting for adults, they also offer junior karts for kids, but you must be 48" tall to start your engines. Whether you're an experienced racer, or just a newbie, they welcome everyone to compete as well.
