Los Angeles may not have the Eiffel Tower as its landmark, but it does deliver on traditional French fare. From patisseries to cafes and bistros, there are plenty of options for French cuisine throughout Los Angeles. Here are five other great French dining destinations in LA from a previous list.

631 N. La Cienega Blvd.
West Hollywood, CA 90069

Le Petit Bistro looks pretty close to a real bistro you'd find in France. Dark red booths and dark wood accents and floors give you an authentic vibe. Of course, the food is French and tres bien. Authentically prepared escargot de Bourgogne, onion soup gratinee and black mussels poulette are just a few traditional starters to choose from. For main courses, options include roasted chicken with herbs de Provence and served with pommes frites, imported sole 'a la Provencale' and grilled entrecote. Chocolate souffle complemented with crème anglaise, chocolate sauce and freshly made whipped cream, crepes Suzette and tarte tatin are some of the special desserts on the menu.

French owner Stephane Strouk and his wife and partner Katy are dedicated to offering patrons a true French experience. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monsieur Marcel creates simple French cuisine. Breakfast is not just a croissant. Here you can select l'omelette, French toast souffle and a croque madame. Similar to what you would find in Paris, lunch and dinner at this café is traditional featuring everything from l'oignon gratinee (traditional French onion soup) and chevre chaud salad (warm goat cheese drizzled with honey atop hydroponic butter lettuce) to beef bourguignon and trout almondine, as well as croque monsieur, several quiches and cheese fondue. Happy hour is served Monday through Friday, 3pm to 7pm, and guests can indulge in crostini, fromage a la carte and charcuterie a la carte. The Monsieur Marcel market is a fun way to explore international flavors, food items and wines.
