These art walks and museums provide opportunities to check out art almost any day of the week. With paintings, sculptures, jewelry and performance art, these free events are sure to be entertaining, enlightening and even relaxing.
Downtown Fullerton Art Walk

Hours: first Friday of every month – 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
For local art, live music and performing arts, the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk is where it’s at. Peruse through the participating art galleries’ offerings at your leisure while exploring the three areas of the tour: East of Harbor North of Commonwealth, West of Harbor North of Commonwealth and West of Harbor South of Commonwealth. On the first Sunday of every month, Bowers Museum provides not only free admission into the museum, but also hosts events for families to explore cultures from around the world. Don’t miss out on the the Winter Solstice Family Festival Sunday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m., and until Jan. 6, explore the “Faberge: Imperial Jeweler to the Tsars” exhibit. Learn about the renowned jeweler, Peter Carl Faberge and his extraordinary jewelry worn by some of Europe’s elite.
Laguna Beach Art Walk

Hours: first Thursday of every month – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Known for some of Orange County’s most notable art galleries, the Laguna Beach Art Walk provides the public with several galleries to explore the first Thursday of every month. Free and open to the public, each month promises stunning new exhibits by local and internationally known artists. Hours: second Sunday of the every month – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Until Dec. 30, visitors may explore the “OC Collects” exhibit featuring Orange County’s most significant private collection of modern and contemporary art. The collection celebrates OCMA’s 50th anniversary and showcases the work of more than a dozen local Orange County artists. Admission is free the second Sunday of each month.
Downtown Huntington Beach Art Walk
Huntington Beach, CA 92648
Hours: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Check out this art walk in the heart and soul of Surf City in downtown Huntington Beach. The art walk offers a chance to learn more about the city’s surf culture and history, explore local musicians and check out businesses in the downtown area. Click here for upcoming art walks.
