Fall is officially here and there's a shift from the variety of outdoor activities to plenty of indoor plays, exhibits and workouts. From Las Laguna's Lens-flare photography exhibition to glow yoga, Tegan and Sara live in concert and live musicals, this week has a lot to offer.

Though it started September 1st, this is the last week that you can catch Las Laguna Gallery's Lens-flare exhibit. The gallery requested that photographers submit images that evoke emotion or inspire others then chose 20 of the best artists who crafted unique photographs—either with traditional or digital photography, Polaroid or tintypes. These artists include Gary Irving, a Santa Cruz photographer that stages shoots to build narratives; Scott Basile, a San Diego native that produces tintypes from large format, analog cameras; and Kathleen Elam, a local who attempts to capture hummingbirds in flight. The showcase will also feature photos by Qingjian Meng, James Crowe, Manuela Durson, Dominic Rouse and more. Lens-flare—A Photography Exhibition runs through Friday.

On the last Tuesday of every month, head to Costa Mesa's Location 1980, a shared space where visitors can partake in glow flow yoga. Instructor Kyuri Lin leads a class in the dark, allowing yogis to focus on trusting their own bodies and the ways the poses feel instead of relying on sight to mimic the instructor or those around you. Lin provides glow accessories that add to the aesthetic appeal of the class as well as the spiritual vibe. Each week is entirely donation-based (though they do request a $15 donation) and helps enhance strength and flexibility through yoga, meditation, aromatherapy and even Thai massage. Throw on some neon or white clothes, grab a yoga mat and make your way over to Location 1980 for a fun night in the dark.

Indie pop duo Tegan and Sara will perform live at The Observatory Wednesday, bringing English singer Shura with them. The identical twin sisters hail from Canada, where they began writing and performing songs at the age of 15. Both sisters are multi-instrumentalists that have recorded and released eight studio albums. Their current worldwide tour is in support of their most recent record, "Love You to Death", which was released in June. Their electric live shows are littered with a mix of pop songs and acoustic ballads that are sure to delight fans at one of OC's best rock venues. Doors open at 7 p.m.

With Halloween right around the corner, Sweeney Todd is an obvious choice for an October musical. Kicking off September 29 and running through October 23, the play tells the story of an exiled barber that returns to London to seek revenge. After opening a barbershop above a pie shop, Todd partners with the owner to add a special ingredient to amp up her business—an ingredient that comes from the murders of Todd's clients. Directed by Damien Lorton and featuring the music of famous composer Stephen Sondheim, this production is sure to shock and thrill Orange County audiences.

For over 50 years, Tustin has celebrated its heritage with the three-day Tiller Days festival. Running Friday afternoon through Sunday night, the festival features carnival rides, live entertainment on various stages and vendors selling local products or services. A variety of food and beverages are sold by local community groups and schools, but the event also features cookie and cupcake baking contests as well as the Tiny Tiller Contest that judges children between the ages of three and six on personality. The next morning, a pancake breakfast is held at the Tustin Library prior to the annual parade that features local marching bands, Girl Scout troops, high school cheerleaders and city officials. The event generates money for local causes and organizations.

Peter Pan tells the story of Wendy Darling and her brothers as they adventure with Peter Pan to Neverland. They'll encounter everything from pirates and mermaids to the Lost Boys and Tinkerbell in this timeless adventure that details the importance of family, growing up and imagination. Put on by Broadway on Tour, a local youth theater that features actors between the ages of eight and 20, the full-length musical will feature plenty of singing, dancing and fun for the whole family. Starring Rebeka Hoblik as Wendy, Alec Salerno as Captain Hook and Mia Bataglia as Peter Pan, this classic story of exploration is the perfect way to spend a fall afternoon. The show starts at 2 p.m.

A day at the beach is extra fun with an annual sandcastle competition! Put on by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, this thrilling event draws both amateur and professional sandcastle enthusiasts as well as plenty of onlookers. Sign up as a group and each participant will receive a contest t-shirt and, if you win, a cash prize. The 2016 theme is "Fantasy Castles and Cars"—come down to the beach to check out some truly spectacular works of sand art. There will also be vendor booths on site from participating sponsors and local organizations.
