Creme brûlée is that unique dessert which many of us find delectable. Typically a rich vanilla custard served individually and at room temperature, what really makes it unique is that crispy crunchy burnt caramel covering. The prepared custard is sprinkled with sugar, which is then melted with a butane torch, resulting in a delightfully crunchy caramelized covering which provides the perfect complement to the rich creamy custard. The dessert is sometimes topped with fresh berries. Here are some of the best places in which one may indulge.

After enjoying a quality meal of seafood prepared practically every way one could imagine, there is still one more jewel to which one can look forward. That is the delicious, somewhat underrated creme brulee which is served in this "house that seafood built." Most patrons will spend their time praising the crab cakes, oysters on the half shell, red king crab, etc. All of which are delicious and decadent, but may forget to mention the creme brûlée, which is so tasty that it is worth a trip just to sit and enjoy a la carte with a cup of coffee and your significant other.
