Los Angeles is home to some of the best shopping found anywhere in the world. From Venice to Silverlake, LA is home to boutiques offering some of the trendiest clothes as well as affordable deals. We’ve put together the quintessential list of boutiques to check out.

Fred Segal
8100 Melrose Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90046
(323) 655-9500
Additional Location: Santa Monica

Launched as the world’s first jeans-only store in 1960, Fred Segal’s Santa Monica store now houses several mini-boutiques under one roof. Visit one of its annual sales for the best deals on designer and one-of-a-kind items for men, women and kids. You can even create your own fragrance and the perfect shade of lip gloss. Think of Fred Segal as a mall of different shops, each with their own brands and set of items for sale. For example, there are sections devoted to just jeans, while other sections offer up different boutiques.

Nicole Miller
8633 Sunset Blvd.
West Hollywood, CA 90069
(310) 652-1629

From her latest sportswear and dress collections to chic eyewear and stunning bridal gowns, you can find all the best of Nicole Miller at her eponymous West Hollywood boutique. Miller’s designs have been spotted on celebs such as Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Leighton Meester.

189 The Grove Dr
Los Angeles, CA
(323) 934-8433
Multiple Locations

Charming accessories, women’s clothing and home décor have made Anthropologie one of the most popular chain boutiques in the country. From trendy yet sophisticated dresses to fine china, Anthropologie is the perfect place to find a gift for a friend or to engage in some serious retail therapy. Locations across Southern California.

Lisa Kline
136 S Robertson Blvd
Los Angeles, CA
(310) 246-0907

Lisa Kline’s flagship store has been a staple on trendy Robertson Boulevard since 1995. Her success in women’s fashion inspired her to launch a men’s store in 1999, as well as a children’s boutique in 2003. In addition to her private label clothing and accessories, shoppers can peruse designs from Theory, Joe’s Jeans and Rebecca Taylor just to name a few.

115 S. Robertson Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90048
(310) 859-2652

Similar to Lisa Kline, Fraser Ross opened a single Kitson boutique on Robertson Boulevard in 2000, but has since launched Kitson Men and Kitson Kids just a stone’s throw away. Its quirky novelties and fashions from nearly 250 high-end designers have made it a hotspot among A-Listers like Nicole Richie, Victoria Beckam and Zac Efron. If you want to avoid the paparazzi, visit the Melrose or Glendale locations, as well as Kitson Kids at Downtown Disney.

8745 West 3rd Street
Los Angeles, CA 90048
(310) 275-1930

One of L.A.’s most popular boutiques, Madison offers the most up-to-date styles from designers such as Chloe, Stella McCartney, Missoni, Elizabeth & James, Alexander Wang and Marni. There are seven locations across the Southland, but be sure to check out the newest space on West 3rd Street.

  • boutique shopper!

Anthropologie is not a boutique! Boutiques are one of a kind, special places. You buy things in a boutique that you won’t see on every third person that walks by.
