When it comes to football, some folks are strictly pro football fans while others are strictly college football fans. With all of the transplants from other parts of the country and two local college football teams, the college game is pretty popular here in southern California. If you're a fan of college football - and great food and beverages - try rooting on your team at these places.

Danny K's is a great place to watch football simply because of the options it provides. The bar has 41 televisions and eight HD screens so no matter what game you want to watch, you should be able to get it on one of the TVs here. Danny K's also has a great beer menu and a full food menu with burgers, sandwiches, steaks and pizza, among other things. In other words, you can arrive here for the first kickoff and stay quite comfortably all day to watch all of the games.

Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

Patsy's always gets a great football crowd and it's easy to see why. This great little neighborhood bar has more than enough televisions so you can watch any game you want - particularly if you want to watch something other than the local teams. In addition, you'll find more than 20 taps, so finding something you want to drink won't be a problem. Patsy's has a full menu as well, so whether you want appetizers or a full meal (or a couple of meals if you plan to watch all of the games of the day), this place has you covered.

Nothing goes better with football than cold beer, and The Salty Dawg has the coldest beer you can find. You'll also find a menu that offers fairly traditional bar food - but with a twist. One example is a sandwich or burger with ghost-chili cheese. Plenty of televisions line the walls to ensure you'll have a good view of the game. This place has a tendency to get crowded, so it may be best to arrive early and beat the crowd.
