In places like Ireland, it's not unusual for a pub to have a fireplace. Of course, in a place like that, a fireplace is almost necessary because it's usually so damp outside and the fireplace makes a great place to warm up. The weather in southern California is nothing like Ireland, but it's still nice to find a bar with a fireplace - if only for the charm and ambiance it adds. If you want to enjoy some beverages in a cozy setting with a fireplace, try these places.

Plus, you'll find a good selection of beers on tap and a great selection of whiskeys - as is proper for an Irish pub. After one visit here, you just might have a new favorite bar.

The bar, or underground craft beer and moonshine bar, is situated in the areas Artists Village and offers 20 rotating taps of domestic and international drafts in addition to a selection of bottles. This is a hip little underground (literally) spot of which the centerpiece is a fireplace that looks like it was claimed from the set of a 60s television show.
