After all, it's tough to top a bar where you can literally walk off the beach and in the door. You'll also find a good selection of taps and big mugs that you can enjoy as you overlook the beach. Finally, there is the food ranging from breakfast burritos to southwest egg rolls. You're assured a good time if you head to this classic Newport bar.

Balboa Saloon is a great place for a lot of reasons. First, it has the low-key vibe you would expect from a bar that is right on the beach. Second, you'll find a good selection of cold beers that are perfect for those warm summer days. You'll also find a good selection of pizza and sandwiches to enjoy with your beverages.
