In fact, there is an app for pretty much anything you can think of. With so many apps out there, we've rounded up a collection of the best and most functional apps you must download if you're a resident of LA. If you haven't heard of it yet, this app is about to change your life. Postmates is essentially the equivalent of Uber, but for anything you want delivered. Simply download the app, search for a restaurant or a store you want something delivered from, select or type in the item you want, and checkout. Like Uber, once you've submitted your order, it will be sent out to all available Postmates couriers and you'll be shown a photo and name of the person who accepts your delivery. Track the progress real time on a map and wallah, you'll have your order within an hour or less. What's great about Postmates is that you can literally get anything delivered. Although it is mostly used for restaurants, you can have the Postmates couriers pick up anything you want. Need your dry cleaning? Done. A Double Double at In-N-Out? Done. Sushi from Katsuya? Yes, they'll do that too. Gone are the days of ordering from just the restaurants that offered delivery service. Like Uber, the delivery feee is essentially built in, so while you can tip extra, it is not required.
