Best 4th Of July 2016 Fireworks Displays In Los Angeles

Are you ready to celebrate America's 240th birthday July 4? If so, there are a number of great fireworks displays around the greater Los Angeles area. After a day of food, drinks and fun with family and friends, gather around and watch some of the best fireworks Southern California has to offer. With Fourth of July falling on a Monday this year, wrap up your three-day weekend with a bang.

One of America's greatest venues for college football and other sporting activities, Pasadena's famed Rose Bowl plays host to a holiday spectacular. Whether you opt for $25 reserved seats or $13 general admission (kids are free under the age of 5), head on out for a day of food and fun. Entertainment will include "Liverpool Legends, TNT Motocross Riders." Parking is $25. The stadium will open to crowds at 6:30 p.m., with ceremonies kicking off at 7 p.m. Fireworks are slated to begin a few minutes after 9 p.m. Crowds can also see the fireworks outside the stadium if they so choose.

One of the world's most famous ships will be the backdrop for one of the nation's biggest holidays. Guests can enjoy entertainment, food, drink, music, not to mention a big fireworks bash starting at 9 p.m. The Queen Mary, which will be decked out in all her glory, will showcase a taste of Americana from East Coast to West Coast and in between. Tickets range from $25 - $99, with parking costing $20. Guests are required to show an All-American 4th of July ticket in order to set foot on the ship on July 4th.

If you're a soccer fan, there's no better way to spend your Fourth of July than watching some remarkable athletes, not to mention some awesome fireworks. The LA Galaxy plays host to the Vancouver Whitecaps at the Stub Hub Center in Carson. After the game is over, fans will be treated to a fireworks display. Tickets for the contest begin at only $25, with parking starting at $15. In the event you miss the Galaxy on July 4, the team will also have a home date versus Houston (July 15).

There are not too many outdoor sporting venues across the country that can outshine the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum when it comes to history and grandeur. The venerable stadium will play host on July 4 to an evening of entertainment, capped off by a dazzling 45-minute fireworks display. The Coliseum is one of two sites joined together for the big day of celebration, as the Expo Park Grounds on Exposition Park Drive will also be hosting festivities. Music, food, rides and more await patrons to both sites.

For those in search of food, beverages, fun and fireworks, head on out to the West Valley this Fourth of July. Patrons will discover a concert at no charge, along with 15 minutes or so of eye and ear-popping fireworks. Local businesses will also take part in the festivities, offering their products and services to browse out and purchase.
