With an assortment of activities including sports, live music, carnival rides and a 5k run, the Orange County Fair is sure to be fun for all ages. Attendees even have the opportunity to enter competitions ranging in themes from the culinary arts to photography, woodworking, film, horticulture and livestock. Orange County is adorned with renowned beautiful coastlines, and the Ocean Festival is a great way to appreciate the inherent beauty in the area. Children under 14 years of age can enter a surfing contest, and adults can participate in paddle boarding, surf race, surf ski race and iron man competitions. For those not interested in partaking in water-related activities, no need to worry. There will also be beach runs for adults and kids, a sand molding contest, a classic car exhibit and a beach party for the entire family with live music. Be sure to fuel up before catching a wave or sprinting down the beach at the pancake breakfast held in the mornings from 7 to 11am.

As one of the top summer fests in Orange County, KSBR Birthday Bash Jazz Festival and Taste of the Bash is the ultimate night out for jazz lovers. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks for a lively day with some of the best jazz artists around. In years past, there have been about 30 artists sharing their talent on stage, and 2014 is expected to be just as big. Check out the scheduled line-up of artists here.
