The festival will flow from Las Palmas Nightclub to three additional locales, including the dramatic Premiere Supper Club, the culturally strong L’Scorpion Tequila Bar and Rusty Mullet, an open-air saloon. More than 2,000 celebrants are expected to participate in this year’s event, which will feature concert-style stage productions throughout the evening and complimentary champagne at the strike of midnight. The amphitheater at Rainbow Harbor will awaken with a blast of exciting family-friendly activities to ring in the new year. Events will include strolling entertainers, face painters, balloon artists and train rides along the esplanade to keep children entertained throughout the evening. Adults will be able to enjoy a variety of spirits from a total of seven bar areas that will be set up along a two-block area with live bands and vocalists commanding three main stages. At 9 p.m., a spectacular fireworks display will light up the night’s sky. As midnight nears, a mirthful countdown celebration will certainly receive 2014 in kindred style.
