One of the most popular festival around Los Angeles is back again this year. Stop by the beautiful Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge for their annual Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival returns with two weekends of great live music, tasty food, origami, and of course, beautiful blooms throughout the gardens. Because of the wildfires this year, the historic 626 Golden Streets event had to be cancelled and has been rescheduled for March 5, 2017 this year. This free event invites people to walk, bike, skate, jog, and stroll through the streets. But, Golden Streets is not a race. There are no awards or finishing medals. There will be 18 miles of car-free open streets from South Pasadena to Azusa.

Pasadena's esteemed museums and performance spaces will be open this evening for this celebration of all things art. Enjoy a free evening of art, entertainment and music as Pasadena invites guests to journey to 18 venues. Shuttles will help transport you to every destination as well. Last fall, 28,000 attended! Venues include the Armory Center for the Arts, The Williamson Gallery, The Art Center College of Design, artWorks Teen Center, The Jackie Robinson Community Center, The Norton Simon Museum, Pasadena City Hall and many others.

Each year, people come together to celebrate Bach's birthday. This year, there will be four elements to a Bach in the Subway performance in which the music of J.S. Bach will be performed anywhere, any time. The music is a gift to everyone and is free, and will largely be held at Union Station's train platforms and other public spaces around town.
