Oktoberfest is well underway but that doesn't mean there isn't still time to celebrate. There are a ton of events surrounding this beer drinking German holiday. LA's Oktoberfest, which is offered on 3 different days (October 16, 17 & 25), features Bavarian dancers, accordion players, and of course beer. On October 3rd, The 2015 LA Bluegrass Situation festival officially begins at LA's famed Greek Theatre. This year's event features a full day of music from the likes of Dawes, Punch Brothers, The Lone Bellow, Della Mae, Gregory Alan Isakov and many more, as well as other activities to keep you engaged. Marking the 5th year of the annual event, the combined talent of all the musical acts is just one of the many reasons to visit. The other? An all day festival with food offerings featuring a full pig roast is another great reason.

Yes, many people do come to see the actual polo match, but for the most part people are coming just to be seen and see others. The sixth annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic takes place at Will Rogers State Historic Park and will feature an afternoon of beautiful horses, beautiful people, and tons of Champagne. The event, which is 21+ is only accessible by purchasing a ticket, but it's well worth the price of admission.
