The mother of two toddlers, who were found wandering on a South L.A. street last week, was under the direct supervision of Los Angeles County’s child protective services agency.
The mother of two toddlers who were allegedly found wandering filthy and alone in South Los Angeles has pleaded not guilty to child abuse and other charges.
A woman was charged with child abuse Friday after her two toddlers were found roaming the streets of south Los Angeles earlier this week, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
“Inside the apartment, it was in deplorable conditions, not fit for a child,” LAPD Capt. Lillian Caranza said.
