Environmental groups, along with two state senators, want to know why the public wasn’t formally notified before the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plowed about 43 acres of wildlife habitat at the Sepulveda Basin.
Flooding Leads To Closures Around Sepulveda Basin, LAX
Flooding from heavy storm that drenched the Southland Sunday night prompted the closure of the Sepulveda Dam and Recreation Area, as well as several surrounding streets, along with the Sepulveda Tunnel near LAX, police said.
