San Bernardino police are searching for a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in the parking lot of the newly vacant Carousel Mall this week.
Authorities searched for a suspect Wednesday that fatally stabbed a 35-year-old mechanic in Pico Rivera.
The victim, who wish to be identified only as Joe, says he required 11 stitches above his nose and several staples on the back of his head after the confrontation near the intersection of Ranchero Road and Cottonwood Avenue last Wednesday night.
The search began around 3:45 p.m. on Rexford Drive and Sunset Avenue. Police have set up a perimeter in the area.
