California Company Recalls Lettuce Over E. Coli FearsA Northern California produce supplier said Sunday it is voluntarily recalling romaine lettuce that was shipped to 19 states, Puerto Rico and Canada over fears about possible E. coli contamination.
Recall Issued For Romaine Lettuce Possibly Tainted With ListeriaA voluntary recall has been issued for 2,300 cases of chopped romaine lettuce. One bag of lettuce with a use-by date of Sept. 29, which was grown on True Leaf Farms in Salinas, has tested positive for listeria.
