LA Judge Tasked With Reviewing Three-Strikes Law Cases
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has started the process of reviewing cases of California inmates who are serving time under the three-strikes law.
Prop 36 Approved By Overwhelming Majority, Allowing Thousands Chance To Appeal Life Sentence
In a historic move by voters, Proposition 36 was approved by more than two-thirds of voters Tuesday. The measure will ease the three-strikes law, which has been placing repeat offenders in prison for life, even for minor crimes.
