Temperatures may be in the mid-70s this week, but meteorologists say a northwest swell has brought bigger than usual waves and strong rip currents to Orange County’s beaches Monday, posing a danger to swimmers.
A number of residents who live across from beaches that are frequented for bonfires raised concerns over wood-smoke pollution, prompting the initial debate over whether the bonfire rings should be removed.
