NHL Cancels First 2 Weeks Of Regular Season

The NHL has canceled the first two weeks of the regular season schedule, which was set to start next week, because of stalled labor negotiations.

NHL To Begin Labor Negotiations

The head of the NHL players’ union said Monday that negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement will begin “very quickly” — perhaps as early as this week — and didn’t rule out talks stretching into the season.
