St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez edged out the other four National League nominees to win the National League’s Final Vote. In doing so, he secured the final roster spot on the NL All-Star team.
Clayton Kershaw definitely made a strong effort to convince fans to vote for him into the All-Star game through the Final Vote by striking out 13 and pitching a complete game.
Kershaw has a second chance to make the 2015 All-Star team, in the MLB’s “Final Vote”, which nominates five players from each league, and lets the fans vote to decide who the final spot on each team goes too.
