Authorities Sunday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a toddler in Signal Hill.
The alleged incident happened along the eastbound 60 Freeway.
Juan Vidrio, 26, was taken into custody this week, five months after authorities began an investigation into drug sales in the seaside city they say revealed Vidrio was selling heroin to teenagers.
The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of Tucker Lane, near Forster.
The incident was captured on police surveillance video in the LAPD’s Van Nuys division and shown last week in a story Only On CBS2.
Homicide detectives responded to the 10900 Block of Long Beach Boulevard at approximately 6:43 p.m. Thursday to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a male adult.
CBS2’s Investigative Reporter David Goldstein obtained a copy of the alleged assault.
The motorcycle driver is believed to be one of the deceased.
