Bell Police have named a person-of-interest in the death of a skateboarder killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night.
Classmates at Bell High School mourned the loss of a 17-year-old student who was killed by a hit-and-run driver while skateboarding over the weekend.
Surveillance video reportedly captured the suspect vehicle just prior to the collision.
Witnesses said the vehicle sustained front end damage and a shattered front windshield.
On Saturday, the 19-year-old will head to Israel to bury his father and will now have to grow up without the wisdom of Eli Malahi, 58.
Her mother is pleading for the public’s help in solving the case.
