A 15-year-old girl who was left in a coma after she was hit by a classmate’s pickup truck outside of Hemet High School last year was able to recover with the help of an unlikely hero.
A 15-year-old Inland Empire girl is taking the first steps toward recovery after, a classmate in a speeding truck mowed her down in a crosswalk two weeks ago.
Counselors will be at Hemet High School Thursday, just one day after eight students and an adult were struck by a pickup truck in front of the campus.
