Homes were evacuated and services suspended Monday after a crew attempting to repair a water main leak ruptured a gas line, causing a geyser of water and gas to shoot from the ground.
Both directions of Pacific Coast Highway in the 2220 block were shut down Thursday due to a gas leak, the California Highway Patrol said.
