The public will soon have a shot at owning a piece of history from the estate of an entertainment legend.
Fans of Bob Hope will have a chance to own a piece of the entertainer’s history at a memorabilia sale this weekend in North Hollywood, with proceeds going to needy families.
The intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Moorpark Street in Toluca Lake will be designated Bob and Dolores Hope Square Monday, honoring the late comedian and his wife.
Dolores Hope, widow of comedian Bob Hope and a supporter of numerous charities in her own right, will be honored at a prayer service 8 a.m. Friday at St. Theresa Church.
