A tow truck driver was fatally shot in South Gate early Sunday morning.
Homicide detectives responded to the 10900 Block of Long Beach Boulevard at approximately 6:43 p.m. Thursday to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a male adult.
The death is being investigated by detectives from the robbery-homicide unit and forensic department technicians.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family says Daniel Hernandez has no identification, cell phone, cash or meds.
Detectives said they were also investigating another incident of child annoyance, possibly involving the same suspect.
The victim was found deceased in the 12700 block of Inglewood Avenue.
A sheriff’s spokesperson told KCAL9’s Serene Branson three girls, aged 3 years, 2 years and 2 months, were found dead in the 1000 block of West 223rd Street at approximately 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Wednesday afternoon to the 16200 block of Bright Morning Court.
During a call on April 28, the man told Blanca Hernandez he would deliver her son on May 1.
Students at Pomona Elementary School and Tewinkle Intermediate School reported becoming nauseous after eating brownies shared with them by another student.
Investigators responded to the scene at the 7200 block of Richfield Street at approximately 5:35 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, who was declared dead at the scene, was found suffering from blunt force trauma.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting in the area of E. Artesia Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue at approximately 1:50 p.m. Monday.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office is in the process of positively identifying the victim
