The first time the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints met in Week 13, it was for NFC Supremacy. Now in Week 19, the true force of the NFC will be revealed.
After nearly pulling off an upset win at Green Bay last weekend (Packers won 28-27), the Saints limped home to the bayou as one of only two remaining winless teams (Cleveland) in the NFL. The Browns’ status does not come as a big shocker. The Saints’, however, is definitely more of a surprise.
Aaron Rodgers came out on top in a memorable opening-night duel with Drew Brees and the Green Bay Packers came up with a goal-line stand on the final play of the game to beat the New Orleans Saints 42-34 on Thursday night.
It didn’t take the Saints not even a whole day to replace running back Reggie Bush as they sign long-time Chargers speedster Darren Sproles.
