Ramirez’s 2-Run HR, Kershaw Help Dodgers Bounce Back, Beat Reds 2-1

Clayton Kershaw pitched eight stellar innings, Hanley Ramirez hit a two-run homer off Homer Bailey and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Cincinnati 2-1 on Friday night to maintain their half-game lead over Arizona in the NL West.

Dodgers Get Shutout By Latos To Hand Reds NL Central Division Crown

The Reds’ Mr. Clinch got their championship party started on the second try. Jay Bruce’s 34th homer put the Reds ahead to stay, and they made good on their second chance to win the NL Central title by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-0 on Saturday without Dusty Baker.

Kemp’s Grand Slam Helps Dodgers Beat Reds In 11

Matt Kemp hit a tying grand slam in the eighth inning for his second homer of the game, and Jamey Carroll singled in the go-ahead run in the 11th, sending the Los Angeles Dodgers to an 11-8 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday.

Halladay Throws 2nd Postseason No-Hitter

Roy Halladay has thrown the second no-hitter in postseason history, leading the Philadelphia Phillies over the Cincinnati Reds 4-0 in Game 1 of the NL division series on Wednesday.
