A man’s body was discovered inside a burning car in Westchester.
The Malibu City Council Monday showed its appreciation toward a Westlake Village man, who risked his own life to pull a crash victim from a burning car on Pacific Coast Highway.
Firefighters pulled a man out of a burning overturned vehicle that went off the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway and crashed onto an intersection in the University Park area early Tuesday.
Authorities say a body was found in a sports utility vehicle burning along the southbound I-15 in Devore.
The man whose body was found Aug. 31 in the trunk of a burned-out car in Valley Village was identified as a 50-year-old Van Nuys man whose death was not caused by the fire, police said today.
