Los Angeles County firefighters Wednesday were battling a fire at a recycling center in Pomona.
A San Bernardino County Fire Department spokesperson tells CBS2/KCAL9 News personnel were dispatched at approximately 4:50 p.m. Monday to the 8300 block of Red Hill Country Club Drive.
“It did look pretty scary, yes,” said one patron.
The burning candle was left alone in a second-floor bathroom, where the fire originated, Concialdi said.
The fire, located in the 8800 block of Etiwanda Avenue, is engulfing the plant as firefighters are battling the blaze with heavy water cannons in at least three directions.
Authorities said the flames were largely contained to a unit on the fourth floor.
The fire was reported along the 13000 block of Mindanao Way.
