I don’t think this is a good fit for Mike Brown. Just like Phil Jackson, he won’t be able to control Kobie. Jerry Buss allowed it to get too far out of control. Now’s he’s trying to reel it back in. Mike Brown should’ve waited until Jerry Buss had finished. This is going to be another “make a choice”. Phil had no reign over the Kobie/Shaq fiasco. Like a coward, he hid until it was settled for him. Then he limped back on the scene. Mike will not be able to control Kobie and Jerry is not going to offer any help. Mike, you’re being set up. Run while you can. Everybody’s left the Lakers because of Kobie and Jerry knows it. The Lakers have very weak ownership and it’s always been that way. It only became noticiable with Shaq/Kobie. Good luck. I wouldn’t wish this on any man.

Mike brown is just a filler coach till another head coach contract expires. The lakers needs Mike Brown for one year, then the “REAL” coach will be soon. The only way Mike Brown can stay for more than 1 year is by winning the championship.PERIOD
