Esperanza Spalding is the most amazing artist to come along in a generation, at least. None of her “competition” is even in the same league. Kudos to the entertainment industry for uncharacteristically recognizing a true artist, as opposed to yet another “flavor-of-the-month.” I might be forced to actually take the Grammys seriously again.
